A Glittery Evening 2023

On Sunday evening in Cardiff, the Wales Millennium Centre came alive with a vibrant collective of queer people of color, celebrating their art and expression. The event was organized by Glittery Cymru, a local organization dedicated to promoting LGBTQ+ POC rights and visibility in Wales. (https://glittercymru.org.uk/)

The event showcased a range of artistic talents from the community, including poetry, spoken word, music, and drag performances. The atmosphere was electric, with people of all ages, genders, and sexual orientations coming together to celebrate the richness and diversity of queer culture.

The event was not only a celebration of queer art but also an opportunity for members of the community to connect and build solidarity. It was a reminder of the importance of creating safe spaces where marginalized voices can be heard and celebrated.
