Oxford Pride 2023

The vibrant streets of Oxford came alive this summer as Oxford Pride, a celebration of love, diversity, and equality, took center stage. For me, an artist and a Queer Person of Color, the opportunity to perform at this iconic event was both a dream come true and a profound moment of empowerment.

As I stepped onto the stage, surrounded by a sea of rainbow flags and smiling faces, I felt an overwhelming sense of belonging. Oxford Pride, like all Pride events, is a testament to the enduring strength of the LGBTQ+ community. Yet, as a Person of Color, my experience was a tapestry woven with unique colors.
