Soundcheck 2023

I recently had the incredible opportunity to perform my queer music at the Wales Millennium Centre in Cardiff as part of the event Soundcheck, hosted by the Queer Emporium. As a queer artist, it was a dream come true to perform at such a prestigious venue and to be part of an event that celebrates queer creativity.

The love and support shown by the LGBTQ+ community at the event was truly heartwarming. The energy in the room was electric, and it was evident that everyone was there to celebrate and uplift queer voices.

The headline act for the show was the electrifying Telgate , ‘Fiery Aggro-Glam band from South Wales with a duty to start riots in 6" platform boots’

It's essential for queer artists to have safe spaces where they can express themselves freely and share their art with like-minded individuals. The Queer Emporium provides just that, and I'm grateful to have been a part of their Soundcheck event.

I can't express my love for the Queer Emporium enough. Not only do they provide a platform for queer artists, but they also do critical work in supporting and advocating for the LGBTQ+ community in Cardiff. I owe a big thanks to Jan, the owner of the Queer Emporium, for inviting me to be part of this incredible event and for all the work he does to create a more inclusive and welcoming community for us all.
